There’s plenty to see within walking distance.
We’re next door to the Wilton Shopping Village,
with its 18th century courtyard and riverside setting.
There are also pre-booked tours at the Wilton Carpet Factory.
Historic Wilton House, stately home of the Earl of Pembroke,
is just five minutes’ walk round the corner.
Wilton House Garden Centre is just a short walk away,
with an outstanding choice of plants, gifts, outdoor and
indoor products.
And you can walk to the unusual Italianate Church of
St Mary and St Nicholas, built in the 1840s.
Salisbury and
nearby
Salisbury is just three miles away. Salisbury Cathedral
dates back to the 11th century. There you can see one

is Old Sarum, the original site of the cathedral city,
run by English Heritage.
